RE-SYNC HOUSING WITH LOCAL CLIMATE
________________________________________
In our housing design, we always look at how we can re-sync housing with the local nature and climate to create sustainable modern tropical living. The design of Taman Nesa, a semi-detached houses & terrace houses development in Sitiawan, Perak State, is no exception.

The site is surrounded by bare & neglected plantation land. The bare surface created heat island effect under the tropical sun.

We designed deep over hangs, deep verandahs & high level heat-dispersant windows for the houses. Together with the landscape & the darker tone walls, it provide extensive shaded & cooled spaces around the houses.

The high roof provides extra air space to buffer the houses from the tropical heat and extra head room for stacking effect to take place.
